This rare booklet, printed in English and submitted to the Permanent Mandates Commission of the League of Nations, includes Dr. Chaim Weizmann’s letter and a detailed legal memorandum addressing the implications of the British White Paper on Jewish rights and immigration to Palestine. Original softcover, 36 pages. This particular copy bears an ex-libris of Gershon Agron (Agronsky) – founder and chief editor of the Palestine Post (later Jerusalem Post), former Director of Government Information in the Prime Minister’s Office (1949–1951), and Mayor of Jerusalem (1955–1959). The cover and title page also bear ownership stamps of the Jewish Agency Library. Condition: Very good overall. Original cover with minor age stains, strong binding, and notable provenance. A rare piece of Zionist history – ideal for collectors of Judaica, Mandate-era publications, and early Jewish Agency materials.
