Rare Illustrated and Decorated Jewish Marriage Contract (Ketubah) – Sana, Persia, 1937 - An exceptionally rare and beautifully hand-illustrated Persian ketubah from the city of Sana (Sana de’al Tachum Tur Oyder), dated 1937 (5697). This vibrant document features exquisite floral, fruit, and dove motifs in rich colors, surrounding traditional Hebrew inscriptions such as the large “Kol Sasson veKol Simcha, Kol Chatan veKol Kalah” and a central Star of David with the word “Zion.” Groom: Shakhar ben Rahamim | Bride: Mastura bat Yosef. Signed at the bottom by multiple rabbis, including the prominent Rabbi Yosef Chaim Hazani, author of Shemot Yosef on the Torah.
