Featuring captions in six languages (Hebrew, Polish, English, Russian, French, Yiddish), it documents every stage of the Nazi genocide machine—ghettos, deportation trains, extermination camps—alongside images of Jewish partisans, survivors at liberation, and schematic drawings of the Sobibor and Belzec camps. Dr. Philip Friedman, a Polish-Jewish historian and Holocaust survivor, provides a searing introduction on the “perverse fondness” of the perpetrators to photograph their atrocities—images that became irrefutable testimony of the crime.
