Engraving – “The Vessels of Solomon’s Temple, ” England, 1786 - A finely detailed 18th-century engraving depicting the sacred vessels of Solomon’s Temple, based on II Chronicles, Chapter IV. Likely issued as part of Rev. Thomas Bankes’ illustrated Bible, published in Monmouthshire in 1786 across 78 weekly parts, with plates by various artists. The engraving features six distinct biblical scenes:  • The Golden Altar of Incense  • The Table of Shew Bread  • The Sacred Vessels used in the Sacrifices  • The Beasts for Sacrificing  • The Golden Candlestick  • The Brazen Sea 📏 Sheet size: 25×39 cm 🖋️ Engraved area: 20×32 cm Condition: Light time stains, small marginal tears, overall very good condition for its age.
