Based on Talmudic sources, the work reflects the Wissenschaft des Judentums approach of late 19th-century Jewish scholarship. This copy contains an important handwritten dedication by the author addressed to: Dr. Salomon Goldschmidt, Rabbi of Königshütte, mentioning their “shared journey to Palestine.” The inscription adds notable historical and collector value, linking the volume to Central European rabbinic and intellectual circles of the period.
