ERARD Piano - Acoustic - Acoustic Grand Piano by the French brand ERARD - Rare Magnificent and rare Erard Paris Piano in fantastic condition. This Erard piano was considered one of the finest pianos in the world during the 19th century, competing with the Bösendorfers as the most prestigious pianos in Europe. Several famous composers appreciated Erards on these pianos, including Haydn, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Liszt, Rubinstein and Paderewski. Parisian Erards are very rare! They have a very clean, open timbre that is often absent in other pianos with over-strung strings. This piano was purchased over 40 years ago and is in very good original condition. The table top features ”Erard Paris” in brass inlaid into rosewood. This elegant touch was common on some quality European pianos made during the 19th century. It has a bench to sit on to play with a black upholstered leather seat and side handles to adjust the seat height. It was recently tuned. Includes acrylic parts to protect the floor or carpet since the castors are made of metal.
