Chest of Drawers Style D. João V - In solid and carved rosewood wood, Portuguese work from the 19th century. XX. Cut-out top, decorated with a recess that accompanies the movement of the box with crooked and cut lines, forming beautiful asymmetrical lines, consisting of two drawers and three drawers, surrounded by thin frames. Cut-out and hollow skirts, carved by volutes with coiled ends. Framed pilasters, resting on well-curved legs, decorated at the knees with carved plant scrolls ending in claw and ball feet. Cut-out and hollow metal fittings, decorated with vegetal scrolls and volutes. Interiors carved in solid brown wood. Beautiful wooden bow and good patina. Signs of use and cracks in the wood joints.
