Upon tasting, this Cru Classé is powerful and elegant. It's a great wine that can be cellared for several more decades. Best enjoyed between 2011 and 2060. Deep dark ruby garnet, opaque core, violet reflections, delicate brightening of the rim, intense, exotic notes of spice on the nose, the finest red berry jam, delicate nuances of ripeness in the fruit, a delicate hint of prunes, a hint of flaky, mineral Cabernet Franc spice. Firm, sweet tannins on the palate, freshly structured, dark fruit melt spreads out like a carpet of aromas, delicate wine, with a really convincing length, almost perfect.
