Polychrome porcelain cup and saucer with views of Meissen and Dresden. Meissen manufacture, circa 1815 - cup h cm 7,3; saucer d cm 14 x h cm 3,1 “Litron” cup with squared handle, high-brimmed saucer. Blue ground porcelain with foliate scrolls and gilt outlines, decorated with polychrome views of Meissen in the cup and Dresden in the saucer within reserves. Inscribed on the reverse Dresden and Meissen, manufacture's mark. PROVENANCE Sotheby's, Milan, An important Roman collection, 2003, lot 430.
