Leonardo Bertapaglia - Leonardo Bertapaglia - Leonardus de Berta Palia praticha [Surgery], 1500. Paper manuscript of 196 leaves, numbered at the top right, preceded by an index of two unnumbered leaves and 10 final leaves containing recipes and medical consultations, 212 x 155 mm., written by a single hand with marginal glosses by various hands, in red and black, numerous additions and additions to the text, RICH MISCELLANEOUS OF MEDICAL TREATISES BY VARIOUS AUTHORS (Michele da Carrara, Gentile da Foligno, Mondini, Rainaldi). A manuscript ownership note at the end of the volume reads: ”Iste liber est meij iohannis de cararia et fratris mei venture”. The codex is unbound, except for a portion of the lower wooden cover, while it is preceded by a fragment of a printed edition, probably incunabula.
