Pirotechnia figures reinvented, 1730 - Paper manuscript of 22 leaves, 287 x 217 mm, dating to the first half of the 18th century, depicting pyrotechnic structures and machines. The frontispiece is decorated with a capital-lettered title and a fountain of fireworks. Forty-two figures in the text are drawn and colored in blue, red, ochre, and yellow . These depict pinwheels, fountains, wheels, and similar structures, a rare example of pyrotechnic art. Contemporary cardboard binding covered with floral paper; spine missing. Bookplate on the inside cover and frontispiece of the ”Biblioteca Malvezzi-Medici.”
