Pair of Arcadian Italianate Landscapes with Staffage Figures - This elegant pair of 18th-century cabinet paintings features classic pastoral compositions set against atmospheric, idealised landscapes. The first panel depicts figures resting along a shaded path beside gnarled trees, opening toward a misty valley. The second shows travelers with a pack donkey approaching a hilltop Italian town bathed in golden sunlight. Rendered with fine atmospheric perspective, warm tones, and delicate brushwork characteristic of 18th-century Central European Masters. Both panels display rich age patina and remain in strong condition, mounted in matching period-style frames bearing a gallery label on the reverse. Oil on wood panels (pair), 28 x 38 cm each Dimensions 28 x 38 cm
