Interesting ice bucket with tongs in Portuguese silver - An interesting ice bucket with tongs and strainer, crafted from 833‰ Portuguese silver. Featuring a fluted design engraved with ‘Flowers’, with the handles and ends of the tongs embossed with ‘Lion’s Muzzle’ and ‘Claws’. Hallmark for 833‰ silver used at the Lisbon Assay Office from 1938 to 1984. Silversmith’s mark of “Viúva de A. Cabral, Lda.” of Amadora, registered in 1966 [no. 3296].
