THE CAPTAIN AND THE KIDS ORIGINAL COMIC ART 1949 - Original comic art for The Captain and the Kids by Rudolph Dirks, the original creator of the Katzenjammer Kids. This new strip was essentially a knock-off of his original creation after losing the rights to the William Randolph Hearst.
