Maritime mail. Correspondence from POTIER, 2nd copy, written in Kolkata on June 23, 1815, received in Lisbon on January 8, 1816. Sent “via London”. Upon arrival in London, it had to pay a postage of 3/2, which was done by the Forwarding Agent Pedras, who signs on the back, dated December 27, 1815. From London, it was delivered on the Falmouth packet, proceeded to Lisbon, where a postage of 420 reis was applied, corresponding to a letter of weight between 2 ½ and 3/8 of an ounce.
