Cape Verde, 1921 – African fiscal stamps “WAR TAX”, with locally typographed overprint and surcharge. MF 168/169, ¼ c on 0$01 and ½ c on 0$01, smooth paper, perforated 15x14. New examples, without gum, without repairs and with a tooth defect on the first stamp, with “SPECIMEN” overprint in black, applied by the postal authorities of Bechuanaland on the stamps sent by the Universal Postal Union.
