Postal history.Pre-philately. 1835. Secure letter, sent from Chaves on 17.3.1835, marked SEGURA CHAVES CHV-S3 rar8, in blue, postage 80 reis, to Lisbon, 23.3. inscribed on the back by the assistant postman “On March 17, 1835”. Received in Lisbon at 23.3 (!). Very well beaten mark
