Portuguese India 1923 registered cover from Nova-Goa to Toledo Ohio. Franking includes 6 different Ceres issues and a Vasco da Gama issue with a “Republica” overprint (CE 250). Ceres issues include 1 1/2 reis overprinted on 2 reis black (CE 322), 2 reis x 3, 6 reis x 4 in 2 distinct shades (CE 261), 1 1/2 reis green (CE 255), 3 reis pale lilac (CE 258), and 1 tanga violet x 2 (CE 264). 7 “axehead” registration marks, 2 New York double oval registration marks and 2 Ohio magenta receiving postmarks. Excellent franking. Toning. I stamp scuffed and 1 stamp damaged corner.
