Portuguese India 1935 airmail cover from Dar es Salaam to Moira franked with 4 King George V Tanganyika issues: 5 cents x 2, a single 30 cents and a single 50 cents. Clear “Dar es Salaam double circle CDSs tie the stamps. Airmail label on the front. Very light “Goan” postmark on the back. Purple boxed “By Air Karachi” on the front. Note the black boxed 3 line “Karachi CANCELLED 17 Jan 35”. Probably due to weather, the Karachi to Bombay leg of the airmail journey was cancelled. Very scarce marking.
