Postal history. Pre-philately. 1811. Letter from Cádiz, 12.11.1811, marked CADIZ by the Spanish post office, sent to Lisbon, from where it was forwarded to Porto. In Lisbon it was marked E, with a postage of 90 reis applied, for the 1st echelon of letters from Spain. These are the last markings of E, which would be replaced by Hespanha. MB and R.
