Port. India 1932 packaging wrapper registered from Mapuca to “His Excellency the Archbishop of Dublin”. Postage includes a block of 8 of the 6 reis value from the St. Francis Xavier Exposition (CE 329), three 2 reis CM issues (CE 202) and a single 4 1/2 reis Ceres issue (CE 259). There are two 4 1/2 reis Ceres issue (CE 259, perf. 12 x 11 1/2) on the “front”. The St. Francis issues and the CM issues are all tied by a light “Mapuca” diamond shaped registration mark. The 2 separate Ceres issues do not appeared to be tied. Very late usage of the CM issues, but are damaged along one side. Superb multiple of the 6 reis issue on an unusual piece.
