India 1948 registered commercial airmail cover from Margao to New York, franked on the back with a single 1 1/2 tangas Padroes issue (CE 339), a single 9 tangas Imperio airmail issue (CE 7) and a pair of 11 tangas Imperio airmail issues (CE 8). The stamps are tied by a light “Margao” octagonal postmark and a partial “Nova-Goa” transit postmark. Two “New York” registration postmarks: black double oval and a magenta double circle. “Margao” registration label on the front. Attractive franking. Small clips at top corners.
