Port. India 1939 registered cover from Mapuca to Columbia Louisiana franked with 4 Imperio issues: 3 reis x 2 (CE 350), 2 tangas (CE 355) and 5 tangas (CE 358). All the stamps are tied by a “Mapuca” registration postmark. “Mapuca” registration label on the front. On the back a “Nova-Goa” transit registration octagon postmark, 2 “New York” double oval postmarks and a magenta “Columbus” registration receiving postmark. Wax seals intact. The envelope opens out to reveal its been reused. Unusual and an attractive combination of Imperio issues. Toning and wrinkling at top.
