Port. India 1947 registered commercial airmail cover from Margao to New York franked on the back with a single 1 1/2 tangas Imperio issue (CE 354) and a pair of 1 rupia MH issues (CE 383). The stamps are tied by an indistinct “Margao” octagonal postmark and a partial “Nova-Goa” registration postmark. There’s a partial “New York” black double oval registration mark and a magenta double circle “New York” registration mark.
