Portuguese India 1945 uprated censored Padroes PSC (OM 39) from Vasco da Gama to Beawar franked with a single 6 reis Imperio issue (MF 351). Censor marks include a boxed “Passed DHG/3” of Belgaum (British India), and a straight line violet “DHG/14” (Belgaum). Top left “Hindustani” hand stamp in violet indicates language of text. Stamp is tied by a “Vasco da Gama” postmark, a “Nova-Goa” CDS and a “Beawar” receiving CDS. Commercial text from Hiralal & Co. (coconut merchant) on the back.
