Postal history. Coastal maritime mail. Letter written in Porto on October 27th, destined for Évora. It was transported by a passenger on a coastal shipping vessel who delivered it to the post office in Lisbon, where it was marked TERRA LSB-CMd1 rar8, known as Terra Limão. A postage of 40 reis was applied for a simple letter to Évora. The Lisbon postmark was also applied. Dated 28/10. Very well stamped mark.
