Postal history. Letters arriving from Brazil. Set of 3 letters sent from Bahia, Pernambuco, and Rio de Janeiro. All were transported by British Royal Mail packets. All were delivered to British agents in the Brazilian ports where the packets called, and where the respective stamps were applied. The letters are all from 1852/53: February 18th to Bahia, June 22nd to Pernambuco, and May 14th, 1853 to Rio de Janeiro. A very interesting set of 3 letters. Two of the letters need minor repairs.
