Mozambique Company. Illustrated postcard with a scene aboard a German ship, sent REGISTERED from Beira, August 2, 1900 to Liegnitz, Germany. Postage of 75 reis elephants (pair of 10 and 50 reis), paying postage of 25 and 50 reis registration premium, Beira REGISTRATION mark and arrival on September 3. It has an additional 50 reis stamp (CE # 43 a), which was not cancelled by the post office, as it was no longer in circulation (June 8 to July 11). Registered postcards are very rare.
