India 1946 registered commercial airmail cover from Nova-Goa to New York franked with a single 1 rupia Padroes issue (CE 344), a pair of overprinted 3 reis on 3 rupias Padroes issues (CE 372, one damaged) and a single 9 tangas Imperio airmail issues (CE 7). All stamps tied by a “Nova-Goa” registration postmark. There are 3 New York registration marks: a double black oval x 2 and a magenta double circle. A “Nova-Goa” registration label on the front on a “Ford” automobile envelope. A scarce and late use of the 1 rupia Padroes issue. Damaged top corners.
