KKL-JNF Rare receipt with map of Israel without Tel Aviv. Russian Empire. Before 1909
This early receipt for a donation to the JNF is denominated in kopecks so must have been issued in Russia. It locates some 20 new Jewish settlements in the Land. Tel Aviv is not shown (but Yafo is), dating this receipt to sometime before 1909, when Tel Aviv was founded. On the edge we can see the bottom part of 'Give redemption to the land' which was the Hebrew slogan of the JNF.
7x10 cm. very good condition.

The item is placed in a quality proactive nylon sleeve and can be easily and safely taken out from the display page. Displayed on a thin cardboard sheet with an explanation and photos on the background of Israel's flag.
