The Arab Women's Committee was established in 1929 after the end of the first conference in Jerusalem, which was attended by over 300 women from all over Palestine. The aim of the committee was to support the Palestinian resistance movement and the families of the fighters of this movement by providing them with assistance, educating girls, and organizing demonstrations and protests against the British High Commissioner.
