Tiffany & Co. Sterling Silver Coffee Pot and Covered Sugar Bowl – Made by Grosjean & Woodward, New York, 1860s - An exceptionally fine and early Tiffany & Co. sterling silver coffee pot and covered sugar bowl, crafted by the renowned silversmiths Grosjean & Woodward, who worked exclusively for Tiffany between 1854 and 1868. Both pieces are richly hand-engraved in Neoclassical style, featuring Greek key borders, foliate garlands, and shell-form spouts and handles. At the center of each body appears an engraved elliptical cartouche with the personal motto: “LET US BE ONE TILL WE ARE NONE”, surrounding an intertwined monogram, typical of private custom orders for affluent American families in the mid-19th century.
