Jewish Brigade Prayer Book – “Palestinian Buffs” Siddur, with Soldier’s Name - A 1941 edition of the Jewish Prayer Book issued to Jewish members of H.M. Forces, based on the WWI 1914 edition. Contains Hebrew and English prayers, including the ‘Havineinu’ abbreviated Amidah, and prayers for war, service, the wounded, and fallen soldiers. This copy bears the name of 2nd Lt. Barasenty, from the 2nd Palestine Company of the Buffs, with his address in Haifa, Palestine. A highly collectible historical artifact from WWII, reflecting the identity and faith of Jewish soldiers in the British Army. Overall in good condition with signs of use.
