Sent by a Palestinian (Eretz-Israeli) soldier of the Palestine Regiment (Field Post Office 518 – Libya) to Mrs. Dina Schaffer, Tel Aviv, 13 June 1944. Patriotic “Guard It Well” illustrated envelope (Jacques Minkus, USA 1943) with rare Hebrew enlistment label reading: “Do you love them? Then fight for them! Enlist!” — depicting a mother and daughter under the Zionist flag. Bearing two King George VI stamps (½d + 1d) and registration label No. 0364. Size 10 × 17 cm. Very good condition, light folds.
