Real Photo Postcard – Jewish Brigade, Photographed in POW Camp Stalag VIII-B, 1941–1945 - A rare real photo postcard showing Jewish Brigade volunteers from Palestine while in German captivity at Stalag VIII-B, Lamsdorf, Silesia. These soldiers were captured during the 1941 campaigns in Greece and Crete. Most were assigned to labor battalions, received Red Cross parcels, and engaged in cultural activities within the camp. The photo was taken there and mailed to Tel Aviv. Reverse bears the camp stamp “Stalag VIII-B” and handwritten address to Simon Friedmann, Tel Aviv. Size: approx. 9 × 14 cm. Condition: Good, with age toning, tape marks, and light staining. A rare and poignant historical real photo document from the Jewish Brigade’s wartime captivity.
