Jewish Brigade Training Center Cover, 1945 - Civilian cover mailed from Tel Aviv on 27 March 1945 to Private G. Arava, Jewish Brigade Group Depot and Training Centre, M.E.F. (Middle East Forces). Bearing 10 mil Palestine (E.E.F) stamp with clear postmark and censor marking “Written in Hebrew.” Sender on reverse: S. Mizrachi, 23 Zrubavel St., Tel Aviv, Palestine. The Jewish Brigade training headquarters was located in the Egyptian desert between Alexandria and El Alamein, at Burg El-Arab, where 5,000 Jewish volunteers were trained before deployment.
