Levin, PAL 17388, serving with the 16th Palestine Field Survey Map Depot, Royal Engineers, C.M.F. (Central Mediterranean Force). Manuscript notations: “Written in Italian” and “Postage free.” Bearing Italian postmark BARI, 20 December 1945, and British field postmark FIELD POST OFFICE 370, 7 January 1946. Probably mailed shortly before the unit’s departure from Italy. Size: 13×17 cm Condition: Good, with folds and minor edge wear. Items from the collections of Jacob Yablok - VirtualJewishmuseum.com.
