Jewish Brigade Lot – Four Commemorative Items - Commemorative Jewish Brigade lot – four items issued post-WWII, honoring the Yishuv’s volunteers who served in the British Army and the Jewish Brigade: Bronze Medal “Here am I, Send Me”, 59 mm, issued by the State of Israel in 1975 to honor Jewish volunteers from Palestine-Eretz Israel who served in the British Forces (1939–1946). Obverse: Hebrew verse “הנני שלחני” (Isaiah 6:8) with the Israeli flag. Reverse: “If a man means to kill you, strike first” (Talmud Berachot 62), with the Star of David and the word Jude. “Heil” enamel badge, 2.5×1 cm, with Star of David and Hebrew inscription “חיל”, symbolizing the Jewish volunteers’ service. Jewish Brigade badge, silver-tone metal, approx. 2×2 cm, depicting a sword within a laurel wreath. Service ribbon bar, 8.5 cm, including two ribbons: Volunteer Ribbon – awarded to Jewish volunteers for the British Army. Haganah Ribbon – awarded to members of the Haganah organization. Includes two official display cards titled “Honoring the Volunteers” and “Battle Ribbons for Service.” Condition: Very good, with light natural patina on the bronze medal.
