Palestinian Buffs – Cap Badge, Jewish Brigade - Bronze cap badge, approx. 5.5×2 cm, bearing the two-line inscription: “BUFFS PALESTINIAN” This badge identified Jewish volunteers from Mandatory Palestine who served in the Royal East Kent Regiment, known as “The Buffs, ” during World War II. These soldiers, attached to a British regiment, wore the standard British Army uniform, with this badge distinguishing them as part of the Palestinian contingent. Made of bronze with two rear loops for attachment to the cap, the badge shows natural age patina consistent with period wear.
