Registered Airmail Cover from Argentina to a Jewish Brigade Soldier in Belgium, 1946 - Sent from Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Private Walter Seger, B Company, 3rd Battalion, Jewish Brigade Group, B.A.O.R., at the Allied Army Post Office in Antwerp (Amberes–Anvers), Belgium. The cover bears multiple Argentine postage stamps from 1946, including an inverted red airmail stamp (1 peso), 40c and 5c issues, along with registered label No. 002559 (“Sucursal 1 Mayo”) and a “VIA AÉREA” handstamp. Reverse side shows sender’s address Erwin Wertheimer, Alsina 1418, Buenos Aires, and a New York transit postmark dated August 1, 1946. The Jewish Brigade had moved to Belgium and Holland in July 1945; this letter was sent during their postwar stationing period. Dimensions: approx. 11 × 18 cm. Very good condition, light age wear.
