Jewish Orphanage, Antwerp – Letter to Poalei Agudat Israel (P.A.J.), Tel Aviv On independent religious immigration with children, Belgium–Israel, 1951 - Printed and signed letter sent from Antwerp on December 17, 1951, on official letterhead of the Tehuis voor Joodsche Weeskinderen (Jewish Orphanage), written by Dr. J. Tippenbrunner, a communal activist and institutional administrator affiliated with Poalei Agudat Israel (P.A.J.), addressed to the Executive Committee of P.A.J. in Tel Aviv. The letter discusses the author’s imminent departure from Belgium and his planned immigration to Israel, and describes in detail his responsibility for five children who are not his own, registered to immigrate together with him.
