Set of Lithographic Advertising Labels – Hotels of Damascus and Baalbek, Syria–Lebanon, Early 20th Century - A group of early color lithographic advertising labels, produced for promotional use and not intended for postal mailing. These labels were used to advertise hotels and tourist destinations in the Syria–Lebanon region during the early 20th century. The labels feature high-quality lithographic printing, decorative typography, and iconic regional landmarks, including: Damascus (Syrie) – Omayad Hotel Baalbek – Grand Palmyra Hotel (multiple examples) Baalbek – Villa Kaouam / Hôtel de la Source The versos are plain, without postal divisions or mailing designations, clearly identifying these items as advertising labels rather than postcards. Dimensions: Largest label approx. 10 × 13 cm. Condition: Very good / excellent; strong, well-preserved colors, clean edges, and only minimal signs of age. A rare and visually striking group of early Middle Eastern tourism ephemera, of particular interest to collectors of lithography, historic advertising, and Levantine travel history.
