Abdülhamid Tuğralı Osmanlı Gümüş Takdim Madalyonu Osmanlı İmparatorluğu, 19. yüzyıl sonu – 20. yüzyıl başı Large Ottoman silver presentation medallion from the reign of Sultan Abdul Hamid II (1876–1909). One side bears a prominent imperial tughra of the Sultan, including the accession year (AH 1293), as customary on official objects of the period. The reverse features a free calligraphic composition with the Sultan’s name and titles, accompanied by decorative elements (five-pointed stars), without denomination or mint designation. The medallion was not intended for wear: it has no suspension, no traces of removal, and a plain edge with signs of hand finishing, typical of Ottoman court presentation medallions. Such pieces were produced for official distribution, ceremonial use, or as imperial presentation items, rather than for circulation. Diameter approx. 40 mm. Weight: 22.51 grams. Condition: Good, with surface wear, scratches, and natural patina consistent with an Ottoman silver object of the period. An authentic Ottoman imperial presentation medallion, not a circulating coin and not a wearable decoration.
