The inscription follows a formal Ottoman court formula, including expressions such as “May God grant him victory” and “May his reign endure, ” characteristic of administrative and ceremonial issues of the empire. The medal bears no denomination and was not intended for circulation, but rather for official presentation or imperial commemoration.
