Israel – Lot of Consecutive ½ Lira and 1 Lira Banknotes | Bank of Israel, 1958 Series - A lot comprising ½ Lira and 1 Lira banknotes, issued by the Bank of Israel, 1958 series. All banknotes were physically examined individually; the grading below reflects their actual condition. ½ Lira – 5 Fully Consecutive Banknotes Serial numbers: 886236–886240 (complete uninterrupted sequence) Condition and grading: Banknote ending 240: visible rust stains and a light paper clip mark; paper remains thick, firm, and sound. Banknote ending 238: ink spot on the reverse, with a small portion faintly transferring to the obverse. The remaining three banknotes: in UNC (Uncirculated) condition, with no folds or visible physical defects. 1 Lira – 3 Consecutive Banknotes A fully consecutive trio. Condition and grading: All three banknotes exhibit a single vertical center fold. Paper is thick, firm, and healthy. Aside from the fold, no additional defects were observed: no tears, stains, or pen marks.
