Chabad – “Welcome, King Messiah” Medal - Chanukah Gelt from the Rebbe – 1970s - Chabad “Welcome, King Messiah” metal medal, issued for the Year of Hakhel 5755. The medal bears an engraved depiction of 770 Eastern Parkway, with the following inscriptions:  „שישו ושמחו בשמחת הגאולה, הנה זה המלך המשיח בא. עמדו הכן כולכם לקבל פני משיח צדקנו בפועל ממש. אט אט קומט משיח. בית משיח 770. שנת הקהל – הי׳ תהיה שנת נפלאות המשיח [תשנ״ה]. יחי אדוננו מורנו ורבינו מלך המשיח לעולם ועד. ברוך הבא מלך המשיח. והוא יגאלנו ועוד…” Diameter: 40 mm. Condition: Fair to good, with light wear. Accompanied by an original “Chanukah Gelt” bag from the Lubavitcher Rebbe of Lubavitch. Issued by Tze’irei Chabad, 1970s. The bag shows some wear, as visible in the photographs.
