Palestine (Eretz Israel) – British Mandate – “PALESTINE MANDAT 10” Souvenir Sheet with Matching Stamp Strips - Early souvenir sheet from the British Mandate period, titled PALESTINE – MANDAT, with the numeral “10” printed at both upper corners. The sheet displays 10 classic Palestine pictorial stamps (1927–1942 issue) in various denominations and colors, depicting well known landmarks such as Rachel’s Tomb, the Tower of David, the Dome of the Rock, and other iconic sites. Several stamps are postally used with period cancellations. Included are three vertical mint strips of matching Mandate issues: 3 mil (green) – multiple stamps joined 10 mil (grey) – vertical strip with lower margin 7 mil (dark violet) – multi stamp vertical strip Condition The souvenir sheet is well preserved, with uniform age toning consistent with the period. Stamps on the sheet are partially cancelled. The strips are unused, with visible aging and minor gum disturbance / mounting traces on the reverse. Possible light bends or normal storage wear consistent with age. An attractive display piece for collectors of Palestine Mandate material and British Mandate postal history from Eretz Israel.
