Due to the absence of regular postal services at the time, the cover was transmitted via the Govina service, most likely through the “Yael” taxi company, which operated as an alternative courier route to besieged Jerusalem. The cover bears a Kfar Hayishuv stamp with an unidentified red cancellation (possibly applied by the transport service). On the reverse is an original service slip with handwritten notation and the date 3.3. An authentic item from the transitional period prior to the Declaration of Independence, reflecting the postal and transportation realities during the days of Minhelet Ha’am and the siege of Jerusalem. Overall condition good for the period, with typical usage and paper wear.
