1950 – Acknowledgment of Relief Parcel via the American Joint Distribution Committee, Tel Aviv – Bombay - A typed acknowledgment form mailed by airmail from Tel Aviv to the headquarters of the American Joint Distribution Committee in New York. The document is dated 10 November 1950 and signed by H. H. Engelsmann, residing in Tel Aviv (23 Yehuda Halevi St., Apt. 151). The form confirms receipt of a postal parcel sent by Mrs. T. Weiss of Bombay, delivered through the American Joint Distribution Committee. Such forms were used by the organization to confirm delivery of relief parcels sent to Jewish recipients around the world.
