10 Pounds Banknote | Anglo-Palestine Bank | 1948 - Banknote of 10 Pounds, issued in 1948 by the Anglo-Palestine Bank Ltd., Tel Aviv. The note belongs to the series issued at the end of the British Mandate period and circulated in the early years of the State of Israel, prior to the establishment of the Bank of Israel and the introduction of the first official state banknote series. The front displays the bank name in Hebrew and English, the denomination within an ornate decorative frame, and serial number A167286. At the bottom appear the signatures S. Hoofien and A. Barth. The reverse carries the corresponding Arabic text together with the classic decorative design of the series.
